14 Local Playgrounds in Jonesboro, AR

1. Miracle League Park- 5000 S. Caraway Road. This handicap accessible park is home to 28 different pieces of equipment for children to play on. This park is perfect for children of ALL ages! For real, I’m talking kids that just started walking to pre-teens. There is so much to do & the soft rubberized ground is great for small kids but there are many pieces of equipment perfect for older kids as well. We’re BLESSED to have this type of facility in Jonesboro. It’s a MUST VISIT! (Vallie & big brother Urban pictured here at Miracle League)

2. Fairview Park- 2212 Brazos Street

3. Reverend Lewellen Park- 102 W. Allen Avenue

4. City Water & Light Park- 737 W. Cherry Avenue

5. Joe Mack Campbell Park playground. This is a great park to hit up between baseball/softball/soccer games.

6. William Evans Memorial Park- 1005 Logan Avenue

7. Ralph “Pop” Stricklin Park- 1220 Medallion Circle

8. Craighead Forrest Park- 4910 S. Culberhouse Road

a. Castle Playground-This is actually my favorite playground at Craighead. Although it’s not as big as the Rotary playground, it’s easier to keep an eye on the kids and it’s in a beautiful location.

b. Rotary Centennial Park Playground-This is one of the largest playgrounds in Jonesboro probably after Miracle League Park. My kids LOVE this playground and there are PLENTY of things to keep them busy.

c. Fort Playground (just across the bridge) from Rotary playground at Pavilion 5 but you can also get to it from another entrance. This is also great for older kids.

d. Bike/Skate Park- Kids can bring their bikes, skateboards, scooters, roller blades, etc and enjoy some very cool ramps and elevated riding paths. This is located to the left as you enter the road to Pavilion 5.

e. Splash Pad-This splash pad is small but has SAVED me on some hot summer days. It’s the perfect FREE way to cool off and watch the kids have a blast.

9. Optimist Park- 1421 W. Nettleton Avenue. This is near our house, so we are frequent guests of this park. There are plenty of great activities for kids of all ages, benches & a picnic table for parents and you may get lucky and see the firetrucks pull out from the station just next door. 10. L.M. Stotts Park- 832 E. Hope Avenue

11. Parker Park- 1506 N. Church Street

12. University Heights Lions Club Park- 502 1/2 N. Bridge Street

13. Julian James Memorial Park- 1212 S. Church Street

14. Allen Park- 3609 Race Street

Honorable Mention: Restaurants with indoor playground (Chick-Fil-A, Burger King @ Hilltop)
