11 Places to Host an Indoor Winter Birthday Party

As a Mom of 3, I have 3 magical birthday parties I have to pull off each year for 3 birthday-loving kiddos. My 2 boys have Summer birthdays. Summer birthdays are so easy! Pool party, cake & ice cream at a local park, bounce house in the yard, water slide in the yard with popsicles, etc. The possibilities are endless and easy.

My daughter on the other hand, was born in early March. Planning a kids’ birthday party in cold weather months, isn’t as easy. Thankfully, Jonesboro has some great options. Whether you need something low cost and easy or you’re ready to throw down some real cash to celebrate, there are great options here in town to create happy Birthday experiences.

1. Creative Crave LLC

  • Quiera Borders, owner of Creative Crave, is an incredible party planner! She can plan, decorate, coordinate ANY type of party, with ANY theme, in ANY location you choose. Seriously, she has a gift. Check her out. (Is this not the CUTEST Cocomelon party ever??)

3. Sumo/Fuji

  • You can book a private room or grab a grill for dinner and entertainment.

  • If you can't tell from previous blog posts, I'm obsessed with Hijinx. That place is a freaking WONDERLAND for kids. With 2 full blown arcades, laser tag, bowling, a ropes coarse, rock wall, foam factory, obstacle course/play area, this place is insane. You can keep it simple and just meet up for play time or actually pay for a coordinated birthday party with a party planner. The possibilities are endless and there is NO way your child will not be entertained. Hijinx has cornered the market on fun! (pic from the private room at my sons 5th Birthday party!)

5. Chucky Cheese

  • Oh the nostalgia! What kid wouldn’t have a blast at a Chucky Cheese Birthday party.

6. Chick-Fil-A

  • As of now, they’re allowing kids to play in their playground area again. If you have a small group, grab some nuggets, let the kids play, and sing Happy Birthday after they've gotten good and sweaty. Simple but so fun!

  • This is where we're hosting my daughters 1st birthday. Not the cheapest option in town but it's simple, easy and SO fun!

  • Their fun hostess will teach your Birthday crew tips & tricks on how to create their own cupcake masterpiece. They'll leave with a new skill, their own cupcake and some unique birthday memories.

9. Bowling at The Social

10. Rent a local movie theatre.

  • I used to work at the Malco Hollywood on Parker Road and kids' birthday parties there always looked so fun!

  • There are fun low cost options to rent certain areas of their center. Lots of possibilities here.
